Vintage Wall Mounted Coat Rack

I found this wall mounted coat rack at a flea market.

And truth? I wish I had thought of it!

It’s made from the front of an old dresser drawer.

How innovative is that??

You can see the dovetail cuts on the side..

And where the drop handles were.

All they did was add hooks to the front and a hanger on the back.

And — ta-da! — instant charm!

So think outside the box and keep your eyes out for anything flat that you could add hooks to and hang on the wall for an instant coat rack.

Like an old drawer front…

Or an architectural piece…

Or a piece of molding…

Or a foot board from an old bed…

The possibilities are endless!
