Our entertainment center for the TV

In our living room

Is all done!

Just for fun,

Here are some ‘before’ shots of where we started

This is how this wall looked when my parents lived here.

Here’s how it looked right after we moved in — before we took down all the lava rock and installed the wood floor.

After living here for a while, we decided that this wall would be the best place for our TV.

And here’s how it looked while we were deciding if we wanted an entertainment center for the TV on this wall.

Can you believe it?!

Mr. Redoux has never made cabinets before.

Didn’t he do an amazing job?!

We made the center piece a couple of inches higher and deeper than the sides to give it a little more dimension.

There’s a ton of storage

And lots of display space.

The v-groove planks on the wall give it so much character.

And the crown molding adds so much architectural detail. (We also added a lot of crown molding around the house — more on that later.)

I’m so happy with the way this entertainment center turned out!

Now all we need is

The fireplace finished…

Rugs…

A bigger TV…

New furniture…

Pillows…

Accessories…
