Do you need a little Spring where you are too?

Well, there’s nothing like the look of fresh flowers hanging out of the side of a French market basket

to brighten your home!

Here’s how easy it is to do:

Find a plastic container that will fit inside your basket

You want to be sure to use plastic because glass will add too much weight. I use a plastic container that my protein powder comes in. Fill the container with just enough water for the stems to reach. Don’t add more water than you need — that will make it weigh too much too.

Put your container into the basket

I usually pack some plastic bags around it to keep it from falling over.

Clip your stems

Then add your flowers to the container

Start with your greenery and longer stems so they drape over the side. Then add the flowers. You want the whole arrangement to look like you just bought the flowers and laid them in the basket and brought them home.

Now find the perfect place to put your French market basket filled with flowers!
