Easy Peanut Butter Pie

I first made this easy peanut butter pie about 12 years ago when my family all came to visit for Thanksgiving.

It was such a hit, we devoured it the first night and everyone asked me to please, please make another one. Which was no big deal since it only takes about 10 minutes to make!

Then as soon as my nephew got home, he asked me to send him the recipe and he made one all for himself!

And it’s been a holiday tradition ever since.

Here’s all you need to make this easy peanut butter pie:

1 graham cracker crust

1/4 cup chocolate chips + a little sugar or honey + a splash of milk

2 small boxes instant butterscotch pudding mix (regular or sugar free)

2 cups cold milk

2/3 cup natural peanut butter

And here’s how to put it together:

Melt the chocolate chips and add a little sugar or honey to taste. Add milk a little at a time until you have a thick syrup.

Drizzle/spread the chocolate onto the bottom of the graham cracker crust. Put it in the freezer for 5 minutes or so until it’s no longer soft.

Mix the 2 boxes of pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk and beat for 2 minutes until it’s thick.

Fold in 2/3 cup of peanut butter until evenly mixed.

Add the pudding/peanut butter mixture to the crust right on top of the chocolate. Spread it out evenly.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours until it’s completely chilled.

Slice and serve with whipped cream.

And watch it disappear!

You might want to make two!
