DIY LOTION BARS RECIPE:

1 cup coconut oil

1 cup white beeswax pellets

1 cup Mango butter or cocoa butter

25 drops of essential oils

  1. Add the first 3 ingredients to a heat-proof measuring cup or wide mouth mason jar.

  2. Set your measuring cup in a pot of water on medium heat with the water on a rolling boil

  3. Stir constantly and continue to cook until everything is completely melted. The wax will be the last thing to melt.

  4. Remove from the heat and stir in your essential oils until well mixed.

  5. Pour into silicone molds.

  6. Allow to cool completely. (You can put the molds in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.)

  7. Once your bars are completely cooled, pop them out of the mold…

And behold!

They just pop right out of the mold.

Put a couple of them in a glass bowl on your bathroom counter

To use them, you just rub a little on the palm of your hand and then rub it in like you would any lotion.

(If you get too much, just wipe a little off with a paper towel.)

It takes a little while for it to absorb but once it does —

Your hands will be silky smooth!

You can use it on your arms and legs too
