Decorating Makeovers Before And After

My motto here at Interior Redoux is:

Renovate

Restyle

Refresh

And you know, when I first thought of those words, I was actually thinking about remodeling my house.

But the more I think about it now, it’s also what I do to most of the things in my house.

I really am all about making something new and fresh out of something that’s maybe a little dated or not quite so beautiful anymore. And I’ve done a few makeovers over the past couple of years!

So I thought it would be fun to take a look back at 15 of my favorite decorating makeovers that show how I love to Renovate, Restyle and Refresh things around my house:

WEATHERED WOOD FINISH

I didn’t like the way my armoire looked so orange

so I changed it to this…

Pin for later

It was a lot of trial and error trying to figure out how to get this weathered wood look on my pine armoire. But once I got it — I was so excited with the result! (And it was pretty easy to do!)
