Crown Molding Before and After

Remember how I said our house is pretty Plain Jane?

It wasn’t built with any trim or millwork.

The walls are just plain smooth plaster,

The window openings are plaster like the walls

And there’s no decorative molding anywhere.

So to give our home some character

We decided to add some architectural features.

Like the board and batten wainscoting in the guest bedroom

If you look at the top, you can see that we trimmed the whole thing out with crown molding

But we didn’t stop there…
