A Warning To House Plants

Do you remember a few weeks ago when I showed you an ivy topiary I made??

In case you missed it, here’s the post on how to make an ivy topiary.

In case you missed it, here’s the post on how to make an ivy topiary.

Well… sadly it has gone to the big garden in the sky just like all my other house plants before it.

I really don’t know why I can’t seem to keep a single plant alive in my house! (In fact, the plant next to it in the photo is also no longer with us….)

So I feel like I have to warn all the plants out there……

HOUSE PLANTS — LISTEN UP!!

You definitely do not want to come to my house!

So beware all you English Ivy, Angel Vine, Maidenhair Fern and fuzzy bright green plant I don’t even know the name of — if you’re at Home Depot or Green Thumb and you see me coming…

Save yourself!

Muster up every ounce of botanical fortitude you have, duck back and hide among the other plants. Trust me, you do not want to be the one that I pick!

It’s so sad really, because I love you Plants.  You’re one of the most perfect decorating accessories that exists.

You’re organic.

And natural.

And you clean the air we breathe.

And you add life to a space.

But if you’re in my house…

You

Are

Doomed

I’m so sorry…

But no matter what I do…

No one gets out alive.

May you all Rest In Peace….
